How to Tell if a Clairvoyant is Fake
Published on Tuesday, 23 March 2010

Going to a clairvoyant can be tempting, especially if you have problems revolving around love, family or even your work. But whilst there are many reputable fortune tellers in the UK, there are also a lot of clairvoyants who are just out to dupe you into giving them money.
Here are some ways to tell whether a clairvoyant is faking it or if he is the real deal.
1. True-blue clairvoyants read your fortune because of their abilities, not because of the money. Those who do have a real talent for foreseeing the future care less about how much money they make from it. They don't ask for any fees or payments before readings. Most real clairvoyants would even ask you for a donation in lieu of payment.
2. Reputable clairvoyants have a long list of loyal and satisfied clients. You might even have some friends who have been going to a particular clairvoyant for years. Fraudulent fortune tellers don't have loyal customers-or, they may have a long list of one-time clients, clients that have asked for their services but never went back. Be careful when looking at a clairvoyant's client list. Remember that quality is always better than quantity.
3. Fake clairvoyants always tell you what you want to hear. Often, these fortune tellers only tell you all the good things: a new house, a handsome or beautiful lover or even your chances of winning the lottery. Real clairvoyants, on the other hand, will tell you both the good and the bad that they see from readings.
4. A real clairvoyant will always give you options and will never tell you what to do. These clairvoyants will show you the different paths you can take in your life and open up various possibilities for you. They will never dictate anything nor will they force you to do something “for your own good.”
With the large number of clairvoyants offering services through the Internet and in different shops, it's easy to be duped. Don't let fake fortune tellers steal your money or your time from you by keeping in mind the different pointers above.
