Clairvoyants and Their Ability to See Beyond Published on Monday, 15 February 2010 Ordinary people sense things differently and so are clairvoyants. Their extraordinary ability to sense things that are not normally sensed by ordinary individuals is something that makes them special. Clairvoyance is derived from the French words: clair which means clear and voyance which means vision. The ability of clairvoyants to see things that are happening in different times and places make them perceive things that are not typically perceived by men. Though their perceptions are not considered scientific reports, their claims are known to be controversial and history can tell how these kinds of people clearly took part in determining what is in store in the future. Religious figures are the most commonly identified clairvoyants. In ancient Hindu, the people who have mastered the art of meditation in relation to denial of worldly things such as personal desires are the perfect examples of clairvoyants. In Europe, clairvoyants are those people who have the special ability to communicate with the dead. Clairvoyance is a hot topic among scientists and people who believe in the metaphysical. Though the existence of such phenomena is still unaccepted by science some people still rely on them. Though they obviously don't have scientific basis, at some point they also talk about sensible things which is why some people believe them.
